Got a quote from Wholesale Suspension for 4 x King's Lows and 2 x Boge rear shocks for the AU + postage. They're asking $500 all up. Sound reasonable?

I think I read somewhere that Kings go for about $150 a pair (so $300) and you can pick a pair of Boge's up from Repco at $100 trade price.

I do have a mate with a trade number, so would I be better off going to Repco for springs too? Anyone know what Repco would sell them for (trade price)?

well from what u wrote man lol 500 sounds a bit steap when u can get springs for 300 and shocks for 100 if u add it up its 400 so 500 to me sounds a but dear
also have u checked ebay for king springs there like $230 brand new
and i have boges in the rear of mine there not to bad for cheapy shocks its just that my back is soft as with the springs i got so with your kings it should be fairly firm

Well I've spent all day chasing up parts from around Canberra.

The offers went like this:

First of all, no one in Canberra seems to sell Boge shocks for under $150. Lame. I ended up buying Pedders GSR for $168 a pair. For anyone wanting to know, they are $118 a pair cost-price. Saw it on their monitor.

The first Repco we tried said springs were $156 front, $175 back and he couldn't bring them down to trade price because they were on special. He sure was an awesome help.

Then I tried Autopro. He said $99.90 for fronts and $160 for rears, but he'd have to order both in.

I tried another Repco and they said $145.95 for rears, so I ordered them.

I called yet another Autopro to order the fronts, but found out they actually had them in stock. So I bought them.

All up, it's cost me $413.85

Now I've just gotta fix up the bill for installing it all, with the new tyres/rims I'm getting as well as sway bars. Another $500, here I come...

You'll find them so much cheaper anywhere. Give the trading post a go.
