Ok, I'm well aware there seems to be a new thread like this every 5 minutes here, but I just have to confirm a few things, here's a quick brief on what I'm doing:

I have a 1994 DF LTD with a blown AUTO in it, 2nd and 4th don't engage.
I also have a V8 t5 gearbox and full conversion parts out of an AU xr8 along with a malwood Pinkit.

1. Will the AU clutch cable fit and be long enough?

2. I just got the bad news that the total gearbox length is longer, will I have to cut my console to fit it and is the input shaft any longer/shorter??

3. In terms of internal wiring, can I completely remove the ECU that's attached to the side of the pedal box (which I'm assuming is for the auto?) and just insert the resistors there (as the manual ECU alternative) or do I need to splice the wires and re-locate the ECU to make room for the clutch pedal?

4. In terms of external wiring, will the plugs under the car fit up to the manual gearbox OK or will I have to modify/replace the loom?

I'm sorry about all the questions, I'm really tempted to ditch the manual idea and stick with auto but I really don't want to put a 3rd auto in there, I have such bad luck with them...

Thanks in advance!
