Shocks, I'm using KYB/BOGE at the moment.
Mine are whiteline valved though, so I'm not sure on stock. These are pretty well dampened, handling over comfort is the name of the game here. Stock would be a bit softer I presume. Swaybars are much of a muchness. I'd go 30mm front, 24mm rear. Whiteline and Pedders both do them, and I'm sure theres others. Not sure on fitting price, I did mine myself. I wouldn't pay to get the swaybars fitted, it's a pretty easy job, I've outlined what you have to do in a few other threads. Hope that helps.

The 'best' shocks would be something like Penske coil-overs with external tanks, but I don't think you'll like the pricetag
A lot of people run Monroe GT Gas shocks with superlows, they seem to be a proven combo. King Springs are really hard, they stop a lot of bodyroll, which is the swaybars job, so the ride isn't as smooth as it could be, but it's still acceptable. If you're going the full works, Whiteline have a kit with matched shocks, springs, swaybars and bushes. King Springs are $120 a pair, for cheaper shocks, Monroe GT Gas are around $300 for the fronts, camber kits are roughly $120 for both sides. Labour would be $200-$300 at a workshop roughly. If you're looking for a good suspension place, I recommend WEB Suspension/Tyrepower on North East Rd at Holden Hill. |
