I just got an EF XR8 xcop interceptor..... and i'm happy as a pig in S**T ive been wanting one since I got my licence 15 yrs ago :D :D :D :D

does anyone have any info or know of websites with info about the option 20 nsw police interceptor pack.
I know all the usual stuff like the speedo cluster and no rev limiter 3:45.1 lsd and trans coolers ect ect

I want to know what exactly is different in the motor and suspension and computer ect.

The opt 20 Cop cars had polyurethane suspension bushes, and they were crap, as I had replaced them when they were under warranty.
The cops had the same cars here too, in Qld.
They used to fit a switch for the interior light, so it wouldn't come on when they opened the door....why?..I don't know.

They wouldn't want the interior light to come on when they were hot on the heels of some Underbelly types lighting them up like Christmas trees ready to get shot at, so they flick the switch, get out in the dark instead.

You're on the money!

When have them disabled in our newer BF and VE's too.. This is all done at the factory. No swith required. All automated.. You can still switch them on manually. Just not triggered by the doors being ajar.

Nothing different engine wise. Same as a normal EF XR8.
