hey ever since i got my EL everytime i would turn a certain corner with a certain amount of degree on the steering wheel. the car would automatically pull further to the direction im driving. so if a car was next to me on my left while im turning left on a double lane road i would probably hit the fella like i wanted to ram the guy off the road.
im not sure if its because of the road or my tyres. but everytime i turn it would pull itself towards the same direction and i have to correct it by pulling the steering wheel in the opposite direction. whats up with it? and after a wheel "alignment", the steering wheel is angled when im driving straight. phong =P~

im not sure if my car has it :S but not sure what that is either. and no not badly worn tyre since i just bought the rim and tyre package. ball joints seemed new when i looked at them while it was jacked up. they were orange in colour and had no cracks on them. might need to check the rack and pinion. i think i might give it to someone else for a wheel alignment and see what they say.

go to a decent/reputable suspension joint and ask for a full front end inspection and a wheel alignment
the wheel bearing could be a little loos.. i go to WA suspension for my wheel alingments $70 a pop but the best the car has ever had!

hey fellas. while driving i found something else out. u all know that when i turn to the left at a certain angle causes my car to turn automatically further to the left. now when i turn the steering back to go straight the steering wheel seems to be aligned well and the steering wheel aint angled. but after a few seconds the car pulls itself to the right and i have to turn slightly to the left to keep the car straight again. anyone got any ideas? i havent had the time to go to some tyre specialist or some steering dude.
cheers phong =P~

Does your steering feel like it has a bit of freeplay as well ?
Check out the steering intermediate shaft - one or both of the uni joints could be badly worn.

Had similar problem with my XR, the alignment would just keep on moving out of place causing heaps of problems. I got it aligned once and drove around the block and wasn't happy and went straight back as the wheel wasn't straight when going straight. They had set it to toe in but with me just going around the block and back it had moved to toeing out. It ended up being the nolathane bushes were stuffed in both lower control arms (think that's what its called) in the front end got them replaced with noltec ones and its all fine now.
