How low do you want to go?
Low, superlow, ultralow, or somewhere in between one of these? In the scheme of things, and the time frame that you will have the springs, I think it's worth spending the little extra to get something better than Kings. I was tossing up between Lovells and Dobinson springs, until I saw the price to get Eibach. I needed to modify my shocks, but I was happy to pay the price for quality. They've been on sale for a while now (a long long while) but at only $220 for a set, you cant go wrong I reckon. Especially if you're going to buy new shocks at the same, as there's no extra outlay, you just get AU/BA shocks instead. http://www.eibachdirect.com/p/523840/pro-kit.html (this is basically superlow) But if you want to go lower than that, you need to look to the other spring makers. |

{USERNAME} wrote: Eibach does not have springs for E series That's why I said if you're buying it all at once, you could just buy AU/BA shocks instead of EA-L shocks then these springs become an option.{USERNAME} wrote: Do they AU Live axcel stuff fit in E series? Yes, AU live axle parts are transferrable.{USERNAME} wrote: Also how about the front's? do u buy an AU shock and fit it into a E series? Yeah, you need to fit AU shocks to the car if you were to use Eibach springs. Sorry if I wasnt clear.

remember, pedders also has the option of the shortened strut (keeping the factory spring) for EB -EL at least.
I had these, and they worked well, lasted the 5 years I had them. If you want lower you can then put in a normal low spring and end up SL The advantage of this is you get lowered for the cost of the shocks Nigel |

I got a trade price alot cheaper than that for all 4 bilstein shocks so I might sell my KYB's and buy them if I decide to keep my EF XR6 for another couple years......... how much would all 4 KYB's and rear low King spring worth? There under a year old........

The pedders red springs have a higher spring rate than the kings.
Not sure on the lovells, but have been in a car with dobinson springs and it was a comfortable ride. Lovells always seem to get a good rep though.

Seriously do people google "f**k up modifications for Fords owned by Jews" and get linked straight to this site nowadays? AU,factory fitted tickford kit/IRS, t5,Sports ryder/KYB: gone. |

I've always been one for king springs.
They just seem to be the best and most available springs and I haven't heard anything bad about them
