Are the shockers designed for the lowered springs?

Then something is way wrong. I had those done to my EF GLi and it was fantastic. Hard as a rock. I would check with the place as to exactly what they installed and tell them your problem.

I did, i even made the effort to look under the car, yes they are the GT shockers and Kings super lows. Fine with one person in the car but that is it.

Sounds like they may have just put std length GT's in and not ones made for a lowered car. I dont know if there is any way to check a model number on the shocks to see though.

Hard does not necessarily mean best handling - hard means 80kph might well FEEL like you're going real quick and being a hero - until a bog stock Corolla canes yer a*** on a twisty road.

I've always maintained that Munro GT's are s**t compared to REAL performance shocks.

IMO the two choices are: cheap option = KYB (that's what Whiteline kits use) and done properly (expensive) option = Bilstein. Simple as that.

Just a thought .... from memory isn't there a bumpstop between the body and the top of the diff housing?
Is it possible that the ride height is so low that with more than one passenger that the bump stop sits on the diff housing .... if this was the case you would have no suspension at all and a very uncomfortable ride.

Cheers,

Alan.

Easiest way to check would be to jack the back of your car up onto some axle stands .... and then crawl underneath and check if there is a bump stop on the body above the nose of the diff ..... and how much clearance you have between them.
And while you are under there, have a look if anything else may be inhibiting suspension movement.

Cheers,

Alan.

Mate ive got super lows and only just installed KYBs. They are a nice shock. Not too much of a bounce at all. I had monroe before these and it was the same it was like a jumping castle. The car now handles like its on rails. I definately would recommend them....

hmm no, every superlow with monroe shock'd car ive been in felt like s**t.
Alot of Monroe owning people say its fine, until they ride in a car with KYB's, Boge's etc.
