Hey guys heres the car:
What sort of suspention should i get for her? I want her low, but no too low as the car will occasionally (Once every 2 months) carry HEAVY airport luggage with full car (5 ppl) so i was after a low suspension that can take that amount of load without scraping everywhere. Is this possible? If so, wat sort of setup u recomend and how much? 7-10cm seems to be a good lowering for now, i am looking for some 19"s after about 7 months so yeah. Thanks in advance eMz |

kingspring superlows good for about 5-6cm. also fit KYB heavy duty for ur load issue. might have to get the guards rolled. if u dont wanna go that far get lows bout 3-4cm.

If you're after good ride quality then have a look at whiteline springs (www.whiteline.com.au). If you're willing to pay they can do you a complete kit. Daniel and Data_mine (I think) are very happy with theirs
If you're after cheap Kings Springs, try the ebay seller: onlineperformance(~$220 for the set)

Yeah, if you want HANDLING not just looks, go for a whiteline Springs, Dampers, Swaybars combo.
My s**t should be here next week, then it's all going in, along with the 3.45LSD!!! I think I ended up paying around $900 for the lot. I'm not sure what there kits for the AU include though, I recommend if you're interested give Whiteline a bell and quiz them on what would be suitable.

cheers boys.
i plan* to keep this car for only 2 years plus i wont be driving it hard in the city.. maybe on the great ocean road.. Now u say king springs ride quality isnt that exiting.. how much do they differ then stock springs? I mean like so they "bounce" heaps or are they bumpy? Also can i put these king springs onto my next car (2002 LTD) and literally swap the springs around? |

Soz another question, if i have a heavy load, what can i install that will allow me to carry a heavy load but not drop the rear too much??
I take it king springs are hard, but not hard enough. Keep in mind i have a LPG tank, soon 2 x 12's.. |

yer if ur carrying alot of luggage make sure u at least get hard springs in the rear. well when lowering a car and driving in it you will definitly notice the difference, it will fell alot sportier and feel that you are closer to the road. but with the pros comes the cons, you will feel bumps, cracks in the road, roughf road alot more than if you were using stock springs. (it isnt too bad though) the springs in mine are pretty good. its low as fuk but i dont feel alot of bumps n stuff. mine is lower at the back so that probably wouldnt suit you as you are carrying luggage. cheers
