Has anyone fitted thes shocks to their ride??? I trying to find out the parts numbers for a set to suit an AuII Xr8 IRS. I found a US site with a set for a mustang for $440US but I'm not sure about the suitability. Any thoughts???

Thanks for the replies, I checked the site
http://www.kybshocks.com.au/ Now I've got the part numbers I gonna try and find out if I can get online. Whiteline suspension have em but $390 each is a bit steep. Pity the Mustang ones from the States wont fit. |

KYB have caused me big headaches in the rear. The front struts are pretty good though.. rear are very bouncy on both low and superlow setups.
^jAsE^ is running KYB and Lovell Superlow combo.. the Lovell's sit a bit higher than the kings. He also has the same complaint about the rear shocks being a bit d**k

hey frank with it being a bit bouncy in the rear... have u tried adjusting the control arms.... on the XR diffs they have 3 different settings for the control arms... i found that certain positions make the rear more bouncey than others....

I am getting whiteline springs and Koni Shocks set up to match. Remember different places setup shocks differently. Ie Whiteline apparently specify their own valving for the KYB's to match their springs.
I took the Koni adjustable (internally) upgrade option and they will also be set up to match the springs. That's $1350 installed and tuned from wheels world in Perth. The guy there really knows his stuff. I talked to him about the other springs and he encouraged me to go with whiteline (the other option being King) since they do much more road and race testing to get a better handling/riding spring. As for a swaybar they said that if I feel I need one then they can supply and fit one, it cost's no extra to do it later or when the Koni's go in. Plus its designed to work best with the whiteline springs.

Hey Spork, i can definately vouch for the whiteline+koni+wheelsworld combo you're going for. I got a whiteline works kit with konis from wheels world back in december, and its been absolutley brilliant. John is a top bloke too, very happy to help me out whenever i rung up with stupid installation questions.
