hey yeah cruising through brissie this morning and all was fine, then i come to this one traffic light and my brakes went to the floor . so i pulled into a side street and proceeded the usual checks calipers clamps ... generelly anywhere it could leak from but still had full fluid can pump them up and they will slow u down. but it is still spoungy as s**t anyone know what could be wrong i figure master cyl. but still not sure ... if it is how much would it cost to get fixed or fix??? is it hard to fix??
thanks in advance

yeah mine did that but the brake pedal went Rock hard you could brake but it was like the car was switched off

when you go buy a new Master cylinder buy one from a AU Falcon there much better is smoother i've got one in the EL Hybrid

Ive had the booster pack up and it does feel like the car is off. The brakes in fords are crap at the best of times. It a relativly easy job to change the booster and master cylinder. Probably 1-2 hour job to be done carefully and properly. Shouldnt cost more than $100

Listen for air noise behind dash when pedal is pressed, that usually spells leaking booster.
