Hi guys and gals,

My son just bought an AU3 Forte wagon (keeping the family all Falcon). It was already lowered with lowering blocks when he bought it. Now something attached to his leaf spring plate is touching the inside of his wheel. My EF wagon has nothing like it, and I'm struggling to identify it. Could the lowering blocks be causing the problem? Does he need to go to smaller lowering blocks?

Thanks for your help.

smaller lowering blocks. the block is causing the hub to scrub out. only ½ an inch raised would stop this.

no bigger than a 1" block in the back of an AU onwards wagon/ute unless you want big wheels.

Thanks for that. What is that bolt attached to? Is that the lower shock mount? Unfortunately, he's in Perth and I'm in Auckland, so I can't take a look at it myself.

Thanks for all the help. Looks like it's slightly smaller lowering blocks, then. He'll probably need the clearance anyway when he fills the back with all his gear.

Thanks everybody, this is my new wagon mentioned above.

I'm trying to replace the supplied aftermarket 18"s with AUII XR8 17"s, to improve the ride quality. I could see it was the shock mount interfering with the 17"s but neglected to tell Dad that.

Looking around for shorter lowering blocks...
