G'day,
i just bought a BF Xr8 ute and its squeaky at the rear, sounds as though the rear bushes or leaf springs need lubricating? What can i use to do this, as the bushes are rubber i don't want them to be eaten away from using the wrong stuff. Cheers

G'Day mate.
Grab some inox from your spare parts shop, its in a spray can, hit all your bushes & in between you leaves. Should sort it out. Cheers Stu |

There are plastic spaces on your springs between the leafs that sometimes come out and that can cause the squeak you speak of, you should be able to buy them at your Ford dealer.

They also have a habit of self loosening the shackle bolts that hold the axle to the springs, and sometimes the leaf mount bolts too.
When this happens they make all sorts of noises. Knocks, creaks and groans. |
