lowering on it's own makes a massive difference,
and even just upgrading to a swaybar that's 1mm bigger than your current one will be noticable in the twisty bits |

lower suspension vie xr spec springs/shocks ie lows
larger diam swaybars just dont go to big on the rear sway bar as it will cause oversteer

(i am on a bit of a budget ) thanks

on the topic of suspension and sway bars. sway/strut bars for the front? where do they go? cause i mean the TB is kinda in the way of putting a strut bar going across the engine bay......or do they run underneath the car? and where do the rear ones go cheers

phong =P~ sway bar under the car, strut brace is what ur thinking of. ive been told they have little effect on falcons due to their suspension setup? strut braces that is

Don't confuse what each part does!!!
Control the body roll with anti-roll bars, NOT with springs!! Control the pitch & bound with springs & shocks. Control the rebound with shocks. Alter the roll centre with the ride height. & read this if you want your E series to handle better. http://www.whiteline.com.au/articles/TF ... alcona.htm

^^ what has been said, whiteline adjustable sway bars front and rear! make a HUGE difference, there is a difference between being hard sprung and reducing body roll.

i believe this is the Watts link... not a sway bar. the watts link keeps the live axle centred, doesnt do the job of a sway bar.. -mitch

That article is pretty old, it just does a good job of explaning the mods needed to get an E series to handle. The prices are higher nowadays so see Whitlines online store for current pricing. K mac also do sway bars (adjustable or non) & there are many companies making springs & shocks, but Whiteline has 'tuned' theirs for the complete package. I think Whiteline is also the only place to get a rear upper control arm with the better pivot point (apart from a Tickford wreck).
