hey guys. i got a B&M launch control kit (line lockers) today and i'm going to get them installed ASAP so don't try and talk me out of it 8-) i just want your opinion on how i should install them... the use will be purely on the street  if you catch my drift...

A: have the solenoid put in the front lines so that i have can lock the front brakes on and go for gold

B: have the solenoid put in one front line so i can circle around that wheel :P

C: have the solenoid put in the rear line so both brakes can be locked off and i can play with the front brakes and creep around (or use it as a crazy handbrake  )

atm i'm leaning towards C but i just wanna get all angels covered

If youve got enough HP, you dont need them.
If your ever involved in an accident you have no insurance.

When you fit the solenoid,at the same time, ring up your insurance and cancel it. There is no point in wasting money on insurance while having line lockers.

i fu need to fit them and to do it properly u need 3 line lockers!

1 for BOTH rear wheels to stop the brake pressure going to the rear brakes,

1 for each left and right front wheel, so when u apply the front brakes u can turn on/off the left/right wheel so u can do super tight nuts :)

ps this is only for offrd use and may and will void any insurance u have :)

what car is this? obviously an early model car. because my EF will spin from launch, with no linelocking needed. what's the point in doing burnouts anyway? excess revving, with no airflow to the front end, now that has to be really good for your engine... :P

Seriously .. spend the $120 on tyres ... cos from the pics you showed last with your fully sick chopped springs ... you had bald tyres as well.

because its fun... and its only excess revving if ur a tool and sit there with ur foot flat, if u have more than two brain cells u'd know how to back off and hold reasonable revs... if u have a clutch fan spinning fast or good thermo's then you'll have enuf air flow to keep you ok for at least 30secs..and that is a pretty long burnout...
