i was driving home from work yesterday and 5mins before i got home it felt like i had no brake fuild left i got her home checked the fulid it was full but still didnt have brakes i dont know why the brakes wont pump up i was thinkin if i pump em up and theres a leak it would piss out everywhere but nothing

only thing i can think of is the pedel box (not sure might not have anything to do with brakes)

it does leak from what i think is a sesor attached to the brake booster itsself it normally leaked out along the wires which plug into it now that has stopped is that senor gone is that why i dont have brakes

and help would be great id normally just get onto it and fix whatever problems my car has

but is the last 2 months shes only been driven to work 9 times coz of all the problems she has

rotors are perfect with no leaks heps of pads im stumped what it could be

cheers justin

I found that old brake fluid loses strength. Take the time, and have someone help you to completely change your fluid. I did and the improvement was amazing.

doesnt have a vacuum leak does it? ie vacuum to the booster? listen closely for sucking noises as this will leave you with the same problem

Check the vac booster itself, I've seen them crack all the way from the outside to the master cylinder bolt . There was no real noise and couldn't see the crack unless you looked for it, (even though it was about 12 cm long)

Pitting in the master cylinder will cause a lose of brakes,
if the booster is gone the brakes will still work, but it will feel like pulling a truck up, you really got to push the pedal too the floor.
Change all the fluid, and get them bled. not a big job,
Pull the master cylinder off too, push the piston in, if you see pitting in the cylinder get a new one!!
saftey first!!

Like the others are saying - Sounds like Master Cylinder Failed.

The Vac Boster will make the pedal ROCK HARD, but you will still be able to slow down (A little).

The Master Cylinder usually fails and the pedal creeps to the floor while your on the brakes. Replace it and things usually come good.

That said, if your pulling the master cylinder Id throw in some nice braided brake lines at the same time!
