Hey guys, i have a problem with my AU, it seems to rattle a lot in the rear and i thought it was my boot so i checked to see if it was loose and i was right so i tightened it all up and thought i solved the problem and was over the moon as the noise was driving me insane however it still makes the bloody noise ? I don't think its as loud as before but its still noticeable and all i want to do is get rid of the bloody noise.
Any ideas of what it could be and how to fix it ? |

Go for a lap around the block with a mate in the boot to narrow it down.

The AUs have a common problem with the rubber rear shock mounts perishing and collapsing, allowing the shock to rattle. I would check for that first. If that is your problem, a crude but effective solution is to pack out the top shock nut with a stack of large washers, as there are not enough threads on the shock to take up the slack.
