theres are as a rough guide(normal falcon height).
lows drop the car 1 1/2 inches. superlows drop the car 2 - 2 1/2 inches. the xr springs r about the same hight as lows so if u go superlows thats hould take it to the height u want. hope helps.

so my car would be already 1 1/2 inches lower than standard height?
thanks kizzer. i was lookin at ebay and saw these Superlow King Springs: Lowers the car approx 50-60mm Part Numbers - Front - KFFL-26SL & Rear KFRL-27SL But theres a note: Shorter Front Struts must be fitted to keep the springs trapped. Has anyone done these? Also.. for people who have got Superlow .. do tyres their tyres rub (i have 17" 235/45)

For those shocks, You will need to contact the seller (onlineautos I assume) and he can supply them for an extra $200. The tyres shouldnt scrub unless they are ROH's (Massive Offset)

235's won't hit on the front if the rim is the correct offset.

Here's the deal. For the xr6 lows will drop it by about 10mm. Superlows will drop it about 20mm. I put superlows in the front and lows in the back. (Check out my gallery for how it looks). Also, with the superlows in the front, and my 18 inch ROH wheels, the tyres do scrubs under heavy cornering, so i have to go get guards rolled. Apparently ROH rims for the pre-AU series offset have +6mm on the normal rims. Sucks when you find out after you lower it!

Good to hear bro! I regret not getting superlows in the back. And yes you're rightultralows are a bit too much, bad practically and i don't think the ride would be that great with the stiffness of them. Anyway good luck,, post up some pics when it's all done

ill go with superlows all round as i think in your gallery it could be a bit lower.
did you change anything else like ur struts. i read on someones page that you need to get a shorter strut or something.

i got superlows all round on my fairmont with normal shockies.
the rides not to bad. it all depends on the condition of ya shockies. standard ticky shocks should be ok as i think there for lowered springs anyway?

did you change anything else like ur struts. i read on someones page that you need to get a shorter strut or something. As far as i know even if your front shocks are in good condition, if you put superlows in there with the standard struts its not going to ride very nicely. I would change the front struts if i was you. I had all new shockies put in all around (they have to be shortened shocks). Also, you might get away without needing a castor & camber kit for it, a wheel alignment place will be able to tell you if you're going to need one or not. I had one installed anyway so they can set up the wheel alighnment nice and accurate.

damn.. just got a wheel allignment done
worst case scenario ... if i had to replace shocks, get a castor and camber kit and wheel alignment, how much would i be looking at roughly (just a ball park figure so i can call ppl up and know what the going rate should be) i know springs are about $200 - $230 Shocks $? Camber Kit $ Wheel Alignment about $100 cheers

I paid $1500 for all mine installed. Did get a bit ripped off yea (paid a lot for labour), but they are whiteline springs. The K-Mac adjustable camber kit cost $375, you could get a cheaper one for around $250 but they use shims so they're harder to adjust. He sold me durashock shocies (had never heard of them) but apparantly they're just as good as the KYBs whiteline use and they're cheaper as well. I'd estimate about $300 for a set of shortened frontshocks, but this depends on the brand as well, could be more, could be less.

My car has been lowered allround no camber adjustment, I have to rotate the tyres on the rims every 5000k's but it goes around corners like it's on rails.
