Hi all iv been doing some looking around the forum
for a few weeks now trying to find pics of lowered BA's As iv just bought a BA falcon XT bout 4 weeks ago and am looking at lowering it only prob im having, i dont no if i want to go ultra lows or super lows. Also seen ppl talking bout lows front and super lows rears. just wanting any thoughts on how they handle, scrapping, cornering ect also some pics would be good. Also iv heard that lowing them puts the rear camber out and chops tyres with base model XT coz cant adjust rear camber. basicly just want to now the best combo in spring hights for driving and looks. |

i to am looking at lowering my BF falcon further, atm i just have the pedders low springs but they arent low enough, i want there to be no wheel well gap, i think its about a 6cm drop from normal ( i have a BF SR but measured a futura and the drop i want is 6cm if anyone can confirm this), i cant remember what it was to start with but atm there is 3cm to go. I emailed king springs and this is what they had to say
"You would need to use a KFFL-57SL to lower the car to approx 330mm HTG. For best ride comfort I would suggest to use a shorter bodied front strut to offer more bump travel to achieve the height required. Monroe GT Sport 35-0572 $ 312 + GST per pair." So they are suggesting i get ultra low, i dont really care which low it is as long as it doesnt cover up the rim, the ideal location is no wheel well gap. not sure on getting shocks as well though as the mechanic said the BF ones are pretty good, i guess i can always put the springs in and later put the shocks in, also is a camber kit needed or is it still not excessivly low, below is where they are currently

ba's have adjustable camber at the rear, so unless you go really low a camber kit is not really needed.

ok thanks for that, i have spoken to wholesale suspension and they suggest ultra in the rear and super in the front to give it a level look and they said yeah every car is different to wether or not it needs a camber kit, might get them to look at it all before lowering. thanks for the info
