Hi guys. I'm looking into lowering my 2004 BA falcon XR6 about an 1 inch. Apart from springs, shortened shocks and new bump stops is there anything else I would need and what brands do you recommend

Personally id be careful of lowering the XR especially if you take people in the back seat often.
I find mine without being lowered scrapes the exhaust as it is, on speed humps etc.
You could end up with a damaged car.

I rarely have people ride in the back seat and haven't had any issues with scraping at the moment

After changing the car to be lower than the 340mm it is already (that's from the centre of the wheel to the wheel arn opening), you WILL need a wheel alignment.

WHy do you feel that it is necessary to lower the car another 25mm? just because looks mean? not a good reason. You also could get yourself a heavier sway bar to complete the deal.
