Defiantely go Superlows. I doubt too many with lows would be overly happy with how it sits. The superlows wont be as comfortable as lows, of course, but the EF/EL's really seem to sit nicely with the Superlows.

most superlow springs are closer to ~3" lower than stock - give or take :)

it all depends - mine is pretty low (lovell superlows), but my mate had king superlows but wasn't as low - so many people run superlows on E-Series - if there were major issues, you'd know about it!

Yeah what Gaz said. Normally superlows will lower the car 50mm. 3" or 75mm is not a normal superlow spring.

my mate has superlows on his ef fairmont ghia, and has the full xr body kit and it sits a really nice hight and looks really good, so i would suggest superlows.

cheers kyle

Lovells sports lows on the front and super lows on the rear give a even 5-10mm tyre-guard gap all round. The even gap means that it still sits higher at the back (rear guard hangs a little lower than the front guard) retaining rake, ride, clearance and good looks. I will only be worried about the most ugliest driveways etc. when a kit goes on.

I just got myself a pair of superlows for the front end of my EF. It has the full XR body kit.

Bought the king superlow V8 standard springs for the front end even though I have a 6cyl, As they are heavy duty and dont sag quickly like the normal SL 6cyl springs do.

They aren't installed yet but will let you know the result when they're in.

How much are EF XR's lower than normal falcons from factory i.e those with tickford springs?

My insurance lets me go 30mm below standard height, so if for example ticky springs are 30mm lower than normal then essentially i could get away with 60mm lower springs?
