I'm soon going to be lowering my EL Farimont with lowered king springs, not super lows don't wont to have to deal with all the sh#t the comes with em ie. speed bumps steep slopes ect. Have a couple of questions.

Firstly i can get a set of lowered king springs for $215 good deal?
Do I need to change my schocks aswell, and would it ride better if i did?
Anything i should look out for when i change em(with my old man)?

Best to change shocks at the same time. You prob have worn oil shocks at the mo anyway. And do a shim type camber castor kit at the same time.

Lows are good - but if you spend that little bit more money you can get Pedders Lows which i believe are a far better option!! many may not agree but i know people who have had king and they just arent as happy with what they have compared to what my car has!! but once again its only personal preference! But change your shocks would make things ride a whole lot better as well

I Should recommend Lovells Lows as they are inbetween lows and super lows.

If your doing the work then its always best to get shorter shocks.

Go any lower that 25-30mm and you'll ruin your standard length shocks as
the shocks have a lesser amount of travel to absorb the bumps.

alot of ppl (some of these are on FM) were saying that infact the great quality Pedders are repackaged and rebadged super cheap shockers*cant remember the brand* so personally i think that the pedders are over rated and overpriced, but thats personal opinion.
cheers

i paid 340 for a set of 4 whiteline springs "Lows" a mate has a set of pedders suspension and mine seems to be a firmer but more comfortable ride. not sure but must be the spring rate and all that that just make them better.
