ok, it looks like i will either be lowering my car on saturday or atleast buying the springs n shocks to do it the following weekend.
so this is my question, should i go king lows or superlows? im wanting superlows but im worried that i will be sitting illegally low (im only on stock steel rims atm :( ) but hopefully somewhere in the very near future i will have 17 inch rims (i want 18 inch but we will have 2 see how the money is going)
also, the guy at repco (im buying atleast the springs from there as i work for ashdown who is owned by repco, thus i get a nice discount) said that the monroe sensatrac shocks work fine with the superlows, so does anyone know if its not a good idea to use them or if they will be fine?
i dont want to fork out a silly amount of money for the shocks but if i have to spend a little bit i guess i have too, but if the sensatrac shocks are fine then i will go them because they will be cheap enough.

Your car will not be illegal on superlows. The minimum is 100mm at the lowest point for a EF/EL Falcon. It should be just above that at 105-110mm.
That is going from when I lowered my stock EF Falcon on superlows. I would just get the Monroe GT gas shocks but I guess the sensatrak ones are probably a bit better.

If your not concerned about curbs and speed bumps go the superlows but if you are a little concerned just get the lows.

Cheers

im not worried about the bumps at all, the only bad one is 2 get into my driveway and we are cutting that out soon.
the guy at repco said the gt gas were no good for superlows...it doesnt bother me which of them i go if they both work cos they are the same price...im just worried that the stroke in them will be to long and i will just be riding on the bump stops all the time :S

im just thinking, should i get lots of pics on lowering the car so that someone here can make a doco on it? i didnt see one in the technical doc's part.
i would do it but i dont know much about the "technical" side of it.
my doc would say like bash this with a hammer, kick here, punch there, no swear. :P
i have got a good digital camera so the pics will be nice n clear.
if no one wants to make the document then i will do it (and by saying i will do it im really saying i will get my dad to word it for me :P )
