Depends on how well the current shocks are.
I put King Superlows in my EF without replacing shocks. It wears them out faster then replacing it, so I advise repalcing it while its getting done. |

if the springs arent trapped by the shcks, then you will definately need new shocks

How long would it take the shocks to wear out?

Depends on the driving you do, where, location of roads, etc

if you are putting lower springs in you should put shorter shocks in to suit. other wise the springs can fall out of location. when i lowered my xe i didnt put shorter ones in but if i jack up the rear i have to hold the springs in place when i let down the jack or they wont sit in correct position

Im running Monroe GT gas shocks with king lows and was considering superlows, but cant decide because ive been told 2 stories.
1. Superlow springs are fine with Monroe GT's and 2. Superlows are no good for GT's you need short travel shocks. Can anyone clarify this mystery? thanks ~Matt

is that the gt gas shocks?
if so, i am running them with superlows and the car isn't bumpy at all, i am quite happy with how it rides. I would replace shocks, it's so much easier when you do it all at once.
