A mechanic told me that for it to be legal, you have to be able to fit a coke can on its side under the jack-point.

I ran superlows all-round on my EA and never got in trouble. Could only just fit a jack under it. Didn't like carpark speedbumps much, so I don't think I'll go superlow again.

I bought my springs off these forums, second-hand. Cost me about $200 for the mechanic to chuck it all in for me (Tuggeranong Car Care - wouldn't recommend them for service/prices).

I'm buying lows through Wholesale Suspension's site. Go through the 'contact us' stuff and send them an email, they got back to me within 24 hours. Only $35 shipping here for springs/shocks too. Not bad.

I'm going to guess its turbocharged, hence dose'ing.

I'd say go for Pedders superlows over King springs superlows, as they sit between KS supers and KS ultras, and are reported to be a much better spring.

I bought my springs for $150 off here. New they go for (I'm told) $150 a pair.

It'll still pass rego with SL's in it. I'd set aside cash for shocks to go in with the springs, as the ride is pretty irritating with all the bouncing around you get from standard height shocks with lowered springs.

Mate - if they are still there, Capital Suspension in Fyshwick are the original Fulcrum Shop, turned dealer there. They were much better than anyone else.
