hey all

just curious about how i can lower my ute. the fronts aren't a problem but because th backs are leaf springs how can i lower it so that its a lower and still put things in the back without the tyre rubbin? i know it depends on what i put in the back but any info or photos would be helpfull.

thanks
wobbo

They undo your springs and basically retension the springs i.e move the bolts closer to make the spring tighter

basically they get heated up and re-curved so they keep thier load rating but at a lower rige height, usually an extra leaf or two is added to increase the spring rate to allow you to carry the same amount as before, but without bottoming out

Sorry mate miss understood your comments at the start, i had the ute lowered with pedders suspension sportsriders in the front but only had the springs reset on the back looks great have a look at the pics .Once the flat lid was added it raised up the front a touch but not enough to back for more adjstments. :)
