I have an XH with the tradesman option. High and stiff. I got some Roh 17s which look good and am hopefully about to lower it a bit.

I got hold of some King low front springs and reset leaves off a standard XH, so it shouldn't lower it too much. I want to find out any tricks with the install so I can sort stuff out and get parts before I take everything apart. I'm a real newbie with suspension stuff but so far I think I need to check the load proportioning valve after, tighten bushes with the car on the ground, make sure there is no rubbing and check my wheel alignment.

Will I need new shock abosrbers?
and
what else do I need to consider?
