what brand depends on how much you wanna spend
how low depends on personal opinion and practicality
leaf springs can be lowered by either getting them re-set at a suspension shop, or you can use lowering blocks

With my XB I fitten new Pedders sports rider shocks all round. Same with the front springs. I had the rear springs reset. Don't go blocks, the car will not handle as good!

liverpool springs in moorebank will reset your leafsprings for around 120-140 a side including putting an extra leaf or 2 in there to stop any tramp aswell, you take them out and drop them to him first thing in the morning and he will have them ready for you in about 3 hours. just let him know how much lower you want them and they will be spot on.

for the front you have heaps of choices, my personal preference is lovells, with billsteines shocks.

Well, I have a wagon, and in the front I have pedders, I happy with them, also not as low as I wanted them to bed...

As for the back, car came with lowering blocks, and Im still getting around to getting them reset.. steer away from lowering blocks. They aren't bad in the short run, but in the long run they need tightening, sometimes they start sliding out  .... But yeah, Ive got pedders all round suspension the bushes and stuff, and its all good except for the lowering blocks..

Cheers
