what are the lowest springs i can put on my BA XR6 while staying legal?
i realise i will most likely need to get the guards rolled as i have 20's. I was thinking ultras in the back and supers in the front (Kings Springs)

SSL in the back and SL in the front, so it will nearly sit even..
BA's dont suffer from a crappy ride when dumped.. alot better than eseries etc.

king spring lows are the lowest legal springs from king springs..
here is something that king springs have stated in there cataloge. NOTE:Kings Super Low & Ultra Low Sports Replacement Coil Spring Range is designed primarily for cosmetic enhancement(show cars etc). These parts therefore render your vehicle illegal for use on public roads. Super Low springs lower vehicle approximately 10-20mm lower than normal Low Ultra Low a further 10-20mm again. |

Lows are standard XR6 hight, so if you put they in it won't make it any lower!
SL are good in the front (not too low) but will make the rear too high. My car with SL/SSL would only just be under the limit, but doesn't look slammed enough to attract to much attention.

the thing i like about pedders they dont have lows, superlows ect..
they give you a measurement from the bottom of your rim to the guard lip, so you can get an idea of where the guard is going to sit in regards to the tyre.. in my ed i use to run king springs but found them to be quite harsh on the ride and found the springs had sagged a fair bit over a 3 year period, i found the car was too low when it went for engineering so i ended up with pedders and its still lower then xr springs and was still within the legal requirement for engineeering... so im happy |

oh ok thankyou
so ill go measure my current height at the lip and figure out how much lower i want it then go ask them what they can do for me?
