driveways and speed hump = lows
super lows = 45 deg on speed humps and no go on some driveways. for a daily i wouild definitely say lows. If you only drive it on weekends then you might be happy with the inconvenience of supers as a trade off for the look. i used to have an ef I6 with lows and the standard exhaust scraped on speed humps. Except when my wife drove it, then the exhaust make a bang noise that may have suggested she should slow down for those bumpy thingos.

I have super lows in my EF xr6 and i don't hate it. Some speed bumps are a problem and yes driveways require some angular aproaches lol. The worst problem is leaving the lights with fury with a full tank of juice and on the street cuts slicks the tail shaft kisses the floor, i could adjust the shocks to fix it though i just have no bothered. But with all the issues i would not go back to lows i think the super lows look alot better.

ive got lows in my ef and its fine to drive, ive gotta be a little bit careful on speed bumps.
but superlows do look alot better, and when ive driven cars with them in they corner alot better and arnt that much worse over speed bumps. if i had my time again id definatly put superlows in it

O yeah with the alley tail shaft it kissed the floor on 1st to 2nd gear changes too. Changing to the smaller DIA steel one fixed that.

yeah they do handle a bit better but shocks make more of a difference in that aspect than springs. get koni adjustables or even KYB's

Supers. Theyre not impractical like every one makes out.

not very. drive slow, go angled if you can. get your exhaust raised if you need to.

Superlows are good. Speed bumps you can take straight on if you go slow. If you go quickly you may touch the car but slow and your fine unless its the Mount Everest of speed bumps.
I haven't had a problem with any of my superlow cars. I've had 4 now. |

just put superlows in and forget what everyone says about scraping dont try and be a rally star. just cruise over speed bumps and youll be sweet.
if you go lows youll wish you went superlows.

I'm a little lower than ultralow, and as above, its not that bad. Just don't be one of those "fully sik" kents that speed through carparks like f**k tools.
Low, and super for that matter just aren't low.

Go the super lows better than having your head in the clouds with the stock GLI's

Hmm superlows it is. I don't suppose anyone has a pic of them on a fairmont or any ef/el with stock wheels? I have seen them on xr6 but am just curious to see a fairmont on stock wheels with sl's.
Cheers for all the responses guys
