As the title suggests, is there anyone or any place people can recommend who rebuild LSD's in QLD for a decent price, as mine is annoying doing 1 peggers constantly.
this is for an EF 3.45:1 LSD, and i may also look at getting repairs done to my 9in. LSD in the ute which was botched up by the last place who ripped me off.
any help is much appreciated!

Just try changing the oil first, use Penrite 140 LSD diff oil. If simptoms persist, see your diff builder.
Oil is cheap compaired to rebiulding them.

How thick was it? How loud is the noise coming from the diff? Does it makes noises doing a slow Uturn?

if i recall properly it's 80 or 90w.
the noise is a real low pitch hum with an increase of speed but it's really really faint, but i notice it.
it dosen't make any noises when turning at all.

Mite only be wheel bearings. Does the hum get louder when you brake? If so, its tyres. Is the vehicle auto? If so, check the wear at the slip-yoke bush. They are renowned for wearing out quickly.
The thicker 140w will quieten it a lot.

yeh but the hum is the least of my problems, the problem is it does 1 wheelers. will the thicker oil help it for that?
