I think its just the fact that the BF calipers allows the bigger discs to slip in.
The VN SS caliper and Corvette caliper is just the finned Girlock one. They were V8 and Turbo fitment on VL's and the same on all models from VN onwards. The BF and AU2 caliper is much bigger but. I reckon the real cost will be in having everything rehardened once it is all machined and the fact that any adaptor brackets etc will need to be basically CNC machined as you cannot weld any part of an adaptor and be legal.

Havnt Looked into the legal side of things yet.
How much does a bf caliper differ from a au caliper ? Is bf the same as ba ( caliper ) There's a ba Xr6 caliper at the wreckers so i can grab those.

BF caliper will bolt up in the same spot as an AU2 one.
Will just accept the bigger disc but.

Bigger diameter.
I have some BF calipers here for the ute and I will get a picture of them when I get a sec. I shall be a little tied up tomorrow night changing the tray so it wont be then.

When I pull a wheel off the AU, I'll snap a pic for you for the caliper and rotor. Actually I can link you one already.

I'll make up a few drawings, talk to machine shops and hopefully get custom hubs made up in e-series off set . Then cut off the "ears" on the uprights , grind flat . Drill and tap holes , Make up a bracket to mount caliper This is where I am having all my issues. When I have been cutting the caliper boss with a mill, I have been getting the upright crack tested and they have all shown minor structural fractures. I'm doing CNC brackets to mount BA brakes on. Are you looking at E Series or AU offset?

So au calipers are limited to fitting a 330mm rotor , while bf calipers will fit a 322mm rotor , 330mm rotor and 355mm rotor ?
Thanks for the pics Dave lol I can get a pair of au hubs brand new on eBay for $50 lol So surely it cant be too expensive to get someone to make me one ? Except the inside will fit a e series stub axle .

I'll be doing AU offset, and when I can get a set to mount, brembos are on the cards.

So will you have to use a au diff ?
How are they cracking ?

For the fronts I will be doing both AU and E Series offset. I'm looking at ways to do a rear kit using an EF/L diff too.
I'm getting hairline cracks around the upright that are originating from the cut sections. I'm trying to get a test set together to bolt on a mates car as the +36 test.
