A small hub ring, like what you get with some mags could solve the issue of the rotor moving around.
Cheers ToranaGuy

measured the hubs spigot its 70.4mm.
the rotor is 71.8 mm so thats 1.4mm, 0.7 mm each side. ill look into a hub ring ToranaGuy, ill see how it goes all bolted up, may centre itself. not a big issue anyway, can be fixed quite easily

Hi ef_falcon_95 Just read your thread, good work. Just thought l'll put my bit in, your kit sounds very similar to a kit one of my mates did for his ef xr6 track car using territory calipers and rotors front and rear.As the caliper mount is slightly different to a falcon, he made up a bracket similar to yours to mount at the front and recessed his wheel studs in the back of the hubs to use the shoulder to locate the disc. For the rear he kept the original mounting bracket but machined 2mm off to mount the territory rear cailpers. Keep up the good

Only thing I'm worried with mine is the lower bolt hole is 14mm and I'm using a 12mm bolt . So if I brake heaps hard I'm worried the caliper may move causing the bolt to move in the hole and the caliper wil rub on the rotor. But if I tighten the bolts up tighten enough and use loctite . The caliper bracket shouldn't move . If it does move I can drill a small hole and hammer a pin right through the upright and bracket . The top holes are size for size with the bolts . It's hard to mark where the bottom hole has to be drilled . When the rotor is on .I did the best I could , but I'm confident the bracket shouldn't move .

ef_falcon_95, he actually used slightly smaller bolts on his kit for the front caliper brackets , his kit worked very good on the track but now he is running old brembo 4 spot calipers on the front now, sold the old kit to another one of my mates. They both run track cars and go to all the victorian tracks. The one with the xr6 also done a barra 6,t56 engine/gearbox conversion.

I'll let you know if I'm interested , I'm not sure yet how many people want me to make them a kit if any lol The plates arent too hard to make . I can take mine to work and cut a few out with oxy Also I can get polycarbonate hub rings made up .

No worries bud, making a good brake upgrade and being cheap does not happen period especially investing so many hrs into it as well... Just my thought's...

Well I have done a brake up grade for cheap , whether it's good or not ill find out when its on the car . Only issue I can see is the bracket moving under braking force . But if I use some washers with grooves cut in them it should hold them firm on the upright

But if I use some washers with grooves cut in them it should hold them firm on the upright You could also hack down a suspension bush crush tube(if you can find one that fits, I keep old crush tubes, they come in handy) & use that to make the hole smaller, then fit the bolt back in. If that solves any bracket creep (lol), just make up a new bracket with a smaller hole in it. I can't wait to see it on the car & see what you think of it. Keep up the good work dude! Cheers ToranaGuy

Id have to be lucky to find one that fits lol
Making a new bracket won't fix the creep , the holes in the bracket are 12 mm and I'm using 12mm bolts so its a good fit . I doubt the bracket will move , its just something I was thinking could go wrong. Anyways the bolt when tightened, the force will be on the upright and caliper anchor plate . As long as its tight it shouldn't slip under force
