Got the upright out, had to remove the bottom shock bolt , then take off the 3 up top . Push the shock down then remove the bolts , lower ball joint came off easy but the top took a few good hits .

I tried leaving it in but couldn't split it from the ball joint , I gave it many hits out of the car , it would be difficult to split it In the car .

The way the upright is I couldn't get the ball joint splitter tool between the arm and the ball joint .
Any tips how to spilt the ball joint off the upper arm I'm the car ?? I'm don't want to remove the upper arm on the other side .

it usually pops off from side shock, sometimes takes a bit longer and a few hits, you can spray some wd4o where the ball joint goes into the control arm..
you can smack the ball joint considering your changing them anyway.. but if you want to keep the upright and ball joint in tact keep the nut on enough so that you dont hit the thread when you hit it...

Cheers , yeah won't matter if I damage anything except the upper control arm as I'm changing it all.

The el brake lines should fit the au caliper ?? The square fitting at the end is not as wide as the au square fitting . ?

Back on topic , I don't think my brake lines will be long enough , one thing I didn't look into too much .does anyone know if au 2 front brake lines are longer than el , or anyone with big brakes is the line, longer compared to stock .
