It may work, but I'd be concerned about the structural integrity of the cut rotor and where you would machine. An AU rotor has a height of 70mm IIRC.

I got all the measurements and au rotor will fit over the el hub. Won't know for sure until I try to do it .
I could NDT the rotor.

It's a shame ford didn't use the EL GT stub axles throughout the EL range.

Afaik stub axles are the same it's the uprights that differ.
All ticky models should of got el gt brakes standard or at least a option .

Well after 30mins of grinding we have a el hub, going to borrow dc Todd's 330mm rotor then it's off to a machine shop to get the slight taper turned square .

Got the 330mm rotors of dc todd , thanks again .
The rotor slides perfectly over the hub, except I have to machine the hub just a little bit so it sits flat on the hub . That will bring it out 8mm, then need longer wheel studs .

One problem I will come across is the rotor being too far away from the upright , that will simply mean a thicker caliper plate

Now to get uprights

The mustang rotors are 43.5mm high, reckon a falcon/territory rotor would fit at 68mm high?
Also, go for AU studs, if they fit.

The height of the te50 rotor is 65mm high. Yup been told the au ute studs are longer , only need to be 10mm longer

Get them to machine as much unnecessary material off the E series hub, the less unsprung weight you have the better, I know its only in early stages right now, but its looking interesting and a good read.

Going to machine shop on Friday . I'll get it machined Back to the ABS ring and a step to clear the rotor of the taper .

Looking at the height of a el gt rotor it's pretty close to my rotor/hub height .
As long as el gt and el falcon uprights are the same , shouldn't have a problem with the rotor sitting too far away from the upright .
