I'm planning on buying an XH ute. I'll probably go for the auto however I would be interested in a manual if a 3 seater is available. Did any leave the factory like that?

i haven't seen/heard of a manual 3 seater. wonder if a manual column shift from an earlier X series would work with a fair bit of modification

I know the XG had two types of bench seat's,
one for the 5 speed Manual and one for the rest. The 5 speed manual one had a reccesed spot in the centre so the gear lever did not foul up. I would have to assume the XH would be the same. |

Yeah, the XH is similar, bench seats are fitted with column shift autos, manuals (floor shift only) get an add on between the bucket seats - this is for the Outback ute model only.
