You need the gear box pedal box with clutch computer to suit your car and flywheel, manual driveshaft,

the best thing to do is to just go get an old ea manual and strip it for the manual gear, all except the comuted cause of the efi, ea are carby. that way you have everything you need, clutch pedal box break pedal, gear box, clutch cable (may need a new one along with a new clutch and pressure plate) and your tail shaft. all the goodies you will need to make one hell of a mess

i have a t5 gear box in my xf ute can i use it if i change bell housing and can i use the fly wheel and clutch it is the late 250 x flow motor

Yea just rape an ea af its goodies, and get a j3 on your ecu for manual trans

hmmmm you probably dont need to change the bel housing, the box should go strait in, t sure about the rest tho just try it out

yea the box should swap over with ut hassel, im fairly certain lol, make it a saturday project to sus it out lol. autos are gay, im hoping to do the manual conersion this year

250 Xflow and EA onwards bellhousing are different (starter motor is on oppersite sides) I have a EA onwards bellhousing with clutch fork and throwout bearing in good nick you can have cheap PM me if interested.

I can take some pictures too if interested (I have 2 bell housings and 2 flywheels)

Car will run but not very good on manual trans with auto computer, dono wjat the difference is

my brother in law converted his xh xr6 to manual from auto and never changed the ecu and car goes hard no probs at all

engine performance wise it dont make any difference..
but in ea to ed you need to fit a resistor on the gear position curcuit to trick the ecu to thinking its in neutral, otherwise the ecu will think its in drive and bump the idle up and cause rev hang..

in ef/el you need to fit a resistor on the gear position curcuit as above.
and also need to add another resistor to the trans temp curcuit, otherwise the ecu will think the auto is overheating and the thermo fans will run full speed constantly...

or the other method id getting a manual tune on a j3 chip to achieve the same results
