hi i have just acquired 01 Au falcon and the auto is cactus i have a complete t5 conversion out of my old Eb fairmont will the the manual gearbox bolt up to the Au motor and do i have to change anything can any1 help

I think you may find that the AU T5 is actually longer than the EB T5, which of course creates several problems relating to shifter position, tailshaft length etc.

I have done a manual conversion from an EL XR6 to an AU Fairlane with VCT. I found the shifter and mounting section sits about 40mm infront of where the AU auto was.

You may have the same problem. The fix for me was a modified mount member and a slight cut in the tunnel to allow for the shorter shifting position.
