Ok so im pretty sure my gearbox is on it's way out. It rattles in reverse, pretty common, but now it's starting to grind under load and sometimes makes some noises at idle.
Have others experienced similar noises when there 5speeds go? Also can I run something thicker then dx3 in the damn thing? I'm also now on the search for a nice tight gearbox. |

I'm also now on the search for a nice tight gearbox. can get reco gearboxs exhanged for yours cheap enough mate, wait til it dies and swap it out, thats the advice i was given from dc_todd

cmon guys stop posting everything in the 6 cyl forum..
the 6 cyl forum is just that! for topics related to the 6 cyl engine, just because your car is a 6 cyl doesnt mean post everything in the 6 cyl forum... if its gearbox related post it in the gearbox drive line forum.. topic moved to gearbox driveline forum... |
