im about to lower my ef with superlow kings, when i enquired about the springs, the guy who is the local dealer for King springs and Monroe, said that monroe dont list shorter shocks (which i didnt think was correct) so i searched the monroe and KYB websites for part No. of shortened shocks (monroe- Gt gas reflex. KYB- Excel G twin tube Gas). Both websites list "lowered" shocks, but the part numbers are identical to the standard height shocks for both front and rears. Does this mean their standard height shocks are also suitable for lowered springs? Does anyone have any suggestions for altenatives that wont break the piggy bank?

lowered rear shockers are needed for the rear but the fronts are the same as standard height. i can get you the part numbers if you like for kyb. i recomend the kybs over the monroes.

The part no KYB listed on their site was 343327 for the rears. Is this correct? |

I recommend the KYBs as well ... have had them on my last couple of cars ... and hell ... they handle well. Have heard from others that they are better than Konis.
I've had no issues at all with KYB equipment ... they have been great.
