Hey guys, the old shocks on my el xr are pretty r*($#d so i'm looking at replacing all of them. Was looking at some Monroe Sensatraks, just wanted to know if they will ride well with standard xr C**k? Also, if i chose to put some superlow springs in at a later date would these shocks ride ok with say king springs? I was looking at a complete whiteline package, however for now it's a bit out of the budget.

Whiteline lows are a tad lower then XR spec springs.
Can't comment on Monroe sensatracs, never had 'em.
My personal opinion is to match the Whiteline Springs to Whiteline Shocks.
The shocks are revalved especially to match.

Just go the Springs and Shocks then.
I dunno what Monroe shocks are, but Whiteline (KYB, Boge) aren't expensive by any stretch of the imagination.

sensatracs are good if you want to retain some ride and comfort but need to bee matched to the spring height for the soft spot to work. most important thing to do is get springs and shocks at same time so you can match them up properly.
