LOL - this is funny...everyone is talking about 'how easy' it is to source this and that...but very little on here have done this conversion either through cebco or sourcing their own components...all you DREAMERS - put your money where your mouth is and then post some results - I don't see anyone other than Fusion doing any R&D here :!:

Cheers,
Steve

Too true, all you talkers saying "oh its so cheap n easy" put up or back up, i mean fuzion looks be going the extra yards here sourcing parts n contacting people getting quotes to fabricate parts required.
Two thumbs up Fuzion.

I've got money put aside, and am waiting for the go ahead. I'll even be guinea pig if it'll be cheaper :)

ha, im the guinea pig if anyone damn you!

Things will be happening VERY shortly i assure you that much. Especially since im running low on brakes and will soon need new pads so i'd much rather go straight to the 330mm rotors.

As some of you may or may not know, Cebco charges approx $2700 for this front brake setup 'fitted'. Other places around the same pricing to.

Yes, you can get rotors/calipers from America on Ebay. But consider what the postage costs on rotors/calipers as they are definately not the lightest of things and so you can imagine what the postage would cost!

This isn't only a project but a kit that will be readily available fitted and not fitted to everyone on Fordmods and elsewhere through Crescent Motorsports. But yes R&D etc going through, also thanking Steve for his efforts helping me out too with info!

Will keep you all informed!

Check Ebay, in the US they go for about $200 a pair new. Same goes for the rotors which are about the same price.
Even if it costs $100 to ship (wouldnt even be half that I though I think) your still well ahead of any local pricing.

Just need cheap spindles :(

You have obviously never shipped from the US. Postage from America is Horendous.

I can get the Ford Racing Cobra caliper kit for a half decent price
M-2320-AF - these are the same 2 pot calipers as used by Tickford but they are painted red and have the white COBRA lettering on them.

what model cobra caliper and rotors are they and how do they bolt up, is there any modification to spindles for mounting caliper?

are the rotors hard to get or is it a common rotor?

is it the same off set and stud patern?

elgt spindles or modified own ones (has to be engineered) .. cobra calipers from 98-2004, and rotors as well.. not very common and have to be imported but rotors and other calipers can be bought here

problem being is getting everything under $1k fitted is the issue! its almost there so just hold on a bit more :) lol
