ive got an AU 1 xr6 that has developed a funny vibration at around 120ks and im not sure whats causing it. Theres nothing below that speed and it gets worse after i back off the power I had the rear wheels balanced but that hasnt done anything. the baffles in the exauhst are shagged to and im wondering if thats got anything to do with it. i just want to know where to start before i start spending money on it at a work shop only to find out it is only a simple fix any help is appreciated

it may even be your uni joint or joints just get under the car, grab the shaft and c if you can turn it. then push up on it. there should b a little bit of play but not to much. when my uni was shot I could come down a hill slowly with the clutch in and could hear that there was something wrong. it turned out 3 of the 4 roller barrings weren't there. any ways man good luck.

ill have a look but wouldnt it vibrate at a lower speed if it was loose bolts or worn uni's any chance the shaft could be out of balance

the bushes appear to be ok(no movement) but im not a mechanic. I'm borrowing anothe set of rims to see if that makes a difference
