hi guys l am would how to change to wheel off set to suit au ser 1 17/ 8 inche rims
this is an project car lam building as l have ordered full ed tickford spoiler kit of the tickford body
lengthern to suit exxtrabody lenth differecne


been told the au series have 1 iche rim off sett as back fitt on cleance of about off the wheel ache
l was told to use spacers but that means un rwc car and they not legal and the au on is different in view also

you could probably fit an AU diff and AU stub axles, but that's a fair mission just for different wheels., I think you can get copys of those wheels in Pre-AU offset

The diff is an easy fit, The front suspension on the other hand is a bit trickier... you have to weld up some spacers with crush tubes in them to spread the load on the chassis rails which you have to drill so the front crossmembers will fit.

I am waiting for an entrepreneur to make up a steel crossmember that will mount using all the original e-series points but utilise the AU/BA/BF suspension arms. The easiest option overall is probably to run spacers... if they have a lip to hold the rim and good quality studs then they'll be fine.
