I was driving my 5 speed bf xr6 ute on to highway, changed into 5th and the clutch pedal just gave way, pulled over, and I can move the clutch pedal with my hand up & down put its free, I have had to top up the clutch fluid a cpl times a week then this happens. What could it be, hoping just a cable???? Plz help

sounds like a seal has let go/letting go/died. after the AU no ford [BA BF FG] had a cable clutch. will either need to rebuild what you have,or replace with a good 2ndhand unit. possibly the unit in gearbox bellhousing? check for leaks along clutch fluid lines.
