The round plug and rectangular plug plug straight into the gearbox. If its an auto loom it should have them.

Ok. Jus gathering info first...
Your putting manual into an EB wagon? What car did the conversion parts come from? Do you have the complete EL loom in your car aleady, ie: you already have a BBM conversion or an EL motor in it, or are to trying to just use the gearbox loom off th el? A little more detail as to what plugs you are talking about (there are lots of them) Some photos would help too

car is eb wagon but car has had the el engine conversion done previously incl all looms out of el... the box is out of ed xr6 i just need to know what wires i need to grab to do the resister trick
everything in the guide suits ef cars the el wiring loom is more like au 1 plug for everything (sits behind bbm) this has all the wiring for auto, injectors etc... |

EL wiring loom only has the big block of wires starting at the BBM and go wherever the wires have to go...it does not have a separate square/round plug like the EFs which lead to the transmission.
Anyways you shouldn't be looking at the big plug at the BBM, you should be looking at the plugs at the transmission side which were connected to the automatic transmission. Should have one round, one square and a single plug...single plug is neutral switch I believe (don't quote me, it's been a while since I've looked under there). I can't remember which is which, but one of the bigger multi plugs is for temp while the other is for gear position? The colour codes for the EF are different to the EL as far as I know so you will need a manual which has the colour codes for it. I can't check for you because I'm at work, but I am positive each plug has at least one resistor. If you don't want to cut wires, just jam the resistors into the existing plugs and duct tape the plugs up so that it's water tight.

The small rectangular plug with 4 wires is your neutral and reverse switch. If you want you can just bridge the neutral wires.
Not sure on the colours as mine is an AU and was different to the guide.

I'd take the loom from your original auto, strip it down and look up in a manual which wires you need according to the guide.
Or find a loom diagram for a manual loom and make one up from that using the plug that will fit.

This will happen from time to time. It is worse when the ECU is reset. Drive it for a week or 2 and it will iron itself out, but will probably still drop revs every now and then. Some people have unplugged the ISC and blocked it off and that had helped...I have tried it but it made things worse and my car wouldn't idle. While my car was still running with the stock ECU, I just tapped the accelerator so that the revs don't drop to the point of stalling...did this for a year or 2, until I got the J3 with a XR6 manual pre-programmed chip.
