I am looking for new discs and pads on my car to eliminate the annoying warped rotors!!

I have looked around a bit, but am a bit unsure of a couple of things.

I am looking at DBA slotted rotors for front and back, will these discs hold up a bit better than the factory ones to a bit of a flogging occasionally?

Also, I have been offered either:
Bendix Advance (standard grade) or
EBC Greenstuffs (hi po)

Is it worth stepping up to the EBCs? Will they shag out the new rotors incredibly faster than the bendixs? Are the bendixs a decent pad to start with?

Cheers for that,
Nic

i have dba slotted all round, they last around 10>15000 before they go wonkie, but i give my car a caning.

as for pads, i use lucas (alot of members here do) HEAPS of dust, but ive had them steaming and they still pulled up great.

the big diff is that rda and dba make the rotor out of good material. even the standard dba will give a longer life then the stock ford.

guy on ebay, onlineperformance sells RDA (they are pritty much the same as DBA) slotteds for $100 a corner with stock rda pads free.

i got that. planning to go to a better pad when ive shagged them good and true.

or he sells the standard for $300 and pads allround i think

cool, thanks guys. I'm thinking I'll just stick with the Bendix pads then if i go down that path.

couple more things, are RDA disc and pads any good? Cause i had seen the ebay ones too.

^^^ The thing with hightek over ebay is the extra $55 a corner for bendix pads!! that adds up quickly. But, that said, i'm still seriously considering getting them through hightek.

i used to swear by bendix although not anymore, i have had continuos issues with them not just in my car but in my dads falcon and my other halfs astra, from squeaking to dust to everything... i dont know what to go with now as i always used to use bendix. tried bosch on the fronts in the old mans car, not too impressed.

A set is 2 pair of brakes pads (4 pads total) ie 2 pair of fronts or 2 pair of rears.

So if its $55 per set it will cost you $110 in pads all up.
