Front shocks are getting a bit bouncy - time for new ones....

Whats the best type for Tickford suspension on an EL? - Or will the ole monroe sensatracs do the job?

Thrown me some ideas falcon-squad....

Id reccomend Bilstein 1st and formost; but they do cost a bit..
For good alreounder id look at KYB's or Monroe even thou they dont seem to last as long for some people.

monroes are not too bad, im running them with lovells lows, nice ride hight, still handles well, and not to harsh over crappy roads.

Just remember, the shocks that supercheap sell, the Gabiels, are 'rebagded' pedders, the sports ryder ones .

I don't know if the Gabriel thing is true, but I do know Pedders use many factories from KYB, Monroe, Koni etc to manufacture their own shocks (cost cutting) with their own specifications.

With that said, I can recommend Pedders Sports Ryders.

Check out the site sponsors at the top of the forum index. They will be around $300 each for the front and $190 for the rear + $200 fitting and alignment. Might also need some misc bushes but the suspension shop will know.

You will be wanting 4 of them though. Not much point just changing the front, each corner of your car affects the others.

Does anyone have pedders stuff? What is your honest oppion about it? I have some mates who are pedders dealers, and i will going through them (most likely) to get some new shocks and springs.

Cant afford whiteline :( so, is it worth the effort for pedders?

Have had KYBs in previious cars ... and they were great ... loved them.
I was quoted $110 each for the Excel-G gas shocks for the XG ute ... not sure if they are the same or similar for the EB though.
