vt, ve, close enough. yeah i know both offset would fit but i mean fit properly. im using 35mm adaptors so ive got to have my front wheels moved either 15mm inwards or get new adaptors and have my wheels stick out 5mm more on each side. so whats that work out as, 30mm less track width or 10mm more track width on the front, i like the second one better but im not sure if there would be enough room, i know its only 5mm but tyre to guard clearance is almost none as it is even with rolled guards.

guys i dont know what drugs u r all on  but 25mm is the extra added to the el offset to bring up to the same as au if you need more than that u have differant type of wheel that wont fit on a au to start with !!!
and any way any more than 25mm and your 8 inch rims with rip the crap out of the guard on eb to el if you have different size wheels u can specify differant offset to suit your wheels
how do i know !!! i have proof see thread

and now i have no issue with 28mm adaptors, 8.5" rims and the +20 offset brake rotors/hubs

so whole width is increased by 20mm
e.g: |<------->|
on each side?

just checked the front wheels and guard on my EF and that 20mm increase will have the tyres rubbing on the front guards when going over bumps

i was a bit excited when i started reading this thread but the increase in width has put me off as i dont want to use hub adaptors with AU offset wheels

couldnt they have made them to be normal pre-AU and post-AU offsets?

now thats more like it. i think they would be better off making a kit that gives au/ba offset on e series as there is heaps of people using adaptors these days that would be keen to get rid of the adaptors on the front. will keep an eye on this thread as i realy need bigger brakes.

When you say standard offset, you mean they're doing a kit that retains the standard E-series offset or gives standard AU-onwards offset?

Firstly, these brakes don't give you 25mm, they only give you 20mm per side.
Secodnly, you require 30mm to get AU-onwards offset, so these brakes will not do that.

Latest response from Tony:

Quote:
Yes we will be doing the other offsets in time, the first to the AU offset will be done in the next week or two.

Cheers

Tony

So you have it right from the manufactuer/sellers mouth that these kits DO NOT give you AU-onwards offset.

so did you find a definate answer about the offset?? you say you need 30mm added to e series to make au/ba offset so does that make au/ba offset +30? im confused now.

umm mate have you measure the hub to hub width of a au ??? with the wheels off?? you need 25mm each side to gain au width total 49.34 mm to be exact and all wheels are made with differant offset from the manufactuers 35mm sounds like u got commodore offset with adaptors to suit?? so you are saying u got a total of 70mm added to your front wheel track????
