SO i blew my diff today on my 2004 ba falcon n/a.
got a couple of quotes but the best i can find is $1500 installed with 4 pinions instead of 2 that is apparently stock standard in ba n/a's. Will the 4 pinions make any difference to performance? for an extra $300 i can also get it done with a limited slip diff. Worth it? and what sort of difference will i notice with this? thanks everyone |

4 pinion will be stronger so will take more crap, and lsd improves traction so both good to have.

you want an LSD. you want it to be a 4 bolt.

lsd puts the power to both wheels. so when taken off you get far more traction than the standard single sipnner.
plus smokes em both in a burnout. if ur into that.

No, it will be stronger, if you change ratios you will notice improvements though.

what would a good ratio be then?
its stock standard at the moment and i want a lot more low end, throw you back in the seat, acceleration. |
