yeh get the ef xr diff, its relatively easy to get hold of one and the revs will still sit pretty on the highway btw, the ratio is 3.45

i just put a el xr6 diff in my ef fairmont, probably the best mod ive done so far, so much fun and a easy conversion.

it improves straight line performance considerably due to the lower ratio and also more traction so u can stall it up higher. It does affect city economy too much but it might make a bit of a difference on the freeway due to it reving higher.

I put a 3.45LSD in my car about a month ago and i do a bit of highway driving, the fuel econamy hasnt really changed from what i can tell.
It now does about 2200rpm at 110Km.

you can notice thats its quicker off the line, and it pulls through the gears a bit quicker!!

Just use a diff from a EF XR6 or mont Ghia, as they are the same.

Deffinatly woth it!!!

hope that helps.
